Good afternoon,

I hope you all had a lovely Easter break.

We have had a great first week back in Badger class with the sun shining, the perfect start to the Summer Term.

We have enjoyed getting outside to prepare our garden for planting next week. We are looking forward to planting some vegetables and herbs to link with our topic of gardening.

In maths, we have been focusing on teen numbers. I have been very impressed with the children’s ability to use different resources such as numicon and part whole models to help them represent their understanding. 

In English, we have read the Odd Egg. This has helped us to think of different life cycles and create some excellent drawings. We are looking forward to next week where we will be able to explore our science investigation lab role play area!

We are looking forward to our trip to Lymington next Monday. We will be leaving school at approximately 9:15 to catch the train and hopefully arriving at the library for 10am. We will then have a picnic lunch and catch the train back at 1:30.
