Happy Easter!
Apologies for the lack of blog post last week, we were having technical difficulties.
An update from last week:
We really enjoyed our Easter service at the church on Wednesday. Badger class’s rendition of Spring Chicken was fantastic and they were so brave to sing it in front of the whole school. I think it was stuck in everyone’s head all day!
We have been learning about 3D shapes in maths. We have been really good at spotting 3D shapes around us and naming and describing their properties.
Out topic this week has been ‘People who help us’. We have been very lucky to have some parent visitors in this week to talk to us about their jobs. A huge thank you to our doctor, vet and dentist – you know who you are!
We have done some fantastic writing about what we would like to be when we grow up – hopefully the children have shared these with you. Lots of future ballerinas in Badger class it seems!
A reminder that we do PE on a Monday, music is on a Tuesday and we change library books on a Friday.
It has been a short but busy week this week with lots of Easter crafts and activities.
Your children work so hard on a daily basis and it is a pleasure to teach them. I am so proud of them and they all deserve a relaxing break!
Have a lovely Easter holiday,
Miss Prichard
