We have had a lovely week. The ice in our outside area has definitely been a highlight! Badgers have really enjoyed coming in each morning and noticing how the water has frozen overnight. We have spent lots of time cracking the ice, making ice castles and ice sculptures, digging for fossils and leaving water for the next day to see if it freezes!
In writing, we have been looking at porridge recipes. We started by ordering the steps of the recipe and then we made up some actions to help us to remember them. We then wrote some fantastic recipes for porridge. We will be using these to make porridge next week! Any questions about this, let me know.
In maths this week, we have been exploring mass and using the scales to measure different objects. We have been measuring oats which will help us next week!
In art, we have made some brilliant collages of trees. We will put these together to make a forest.
In phonics, we have learnt the sounds ur, ow, oi and ear.
Well done to Badgers for all of their hard work.
Have a lovely weekend.
