I can’t believe we have finished the first half term in Badger class!

On Monday, we went out for a walk around Brockenhurst looking out for different types of transport. The children walked beautifully and were very sensible crossing the roads and listening to the grown-ups. Well done Badgers.

I have been SO impressed with Badger class’s writing this week. We have been reading the book “Duck in the Truck” and listening out for the rhyming words. We have been writing words from the book with the ‘ck’ digraph which rhyme such as duck, muck, stuck and truck.

Yesterday, we completed our junk modelling and all of the children were very proud of their buses, rockets and cars! It was nice to see their creative side and listening to them talk about which materials and techniques they were going to use.

It was so lovely to catch up with you all at parents evening. I am so proud of Badger class and how well they have settled.
