Wow, what a fantastic week.

The children have settled so well into Badger class. We have spent lots of time getting to know each other and the daily routines. They have been so grown up and impressed the rest of the school in whole school assemblies and spending lunchtime on the big playground. 

We have spent lots of time outside this week enjoying the sunny weather. We have played in the sand, water, construction area and on the bikes. Today, we were scientists and tested objects in the water to see if they would sink or float. We made predictions and discussed our reasons with our friends. 

I have been very impressed with Badger class's eagerness to learn. In maths we have been practising ordering and counting to 10. Today, in the writing area, we made self-portraits and added labels. Fantastic work Badgers, well done.

Last week, I asked if the children could bring in a photo of family for this coming Monday. This could be emailed to me and I can print it off if that is easier. This can also be more than one photo! Thank you. 

Tapestry:  

Mrs Shilton and I have been adding observations on to Tapestry for you to see. Equally, if you would like to add photos on to Tapestry for us to share in class, that would be lovely. 

PE and Library days:

PE will be on a Monday, and we will visit the library on Friday.
