Year R
Friday Blog - Friday 14th July
Good afternoon everyone,
We must have had a very busy week as Sports Day seems such a long time ago, but it was only Monday. The children loved every minute of it, as spectators and competitors. They all tried their best and cheered on all their friends. It was lovely to see so many of you come to join us.
On Wednesday, we went to the village hall to watch the dress rehearsal of this year's KS2 production - Peter Pan! Badger Class were a fantastic audience, especially when asked if they believed in fairies - Yes, they all shouted. It was very sweet. 6 years to go and they will be in the lead roles.
I hope you all received your invites for afternoon tea next week. The children are excited. The children all chose who they wanted to write to, but don't worry as all parents are welcome ( I know some of them left off mummy or daddy!) Please contact me if you have any questions.
We have collected all library books in. If your child has an overdue book they will have a slip with the book's title on it. Please have a look at home and return any you find to school next week.
I can't believe next week will be our last week. The time has gone so quickly and we are so proud of all that the children have achieved. I hope you were all pleased with the children's reports. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Best wishes for the weekend,
The Year R Team
