Friday Blog - Friday 12th May
Good evening everyone,
Another short week, but we've squeezed a lot in.
In maths, we have been looking at 3D shapes - learning their names and spotting them in our environment.
In phonics we've tackled reading longer words, where we always remember to 'chunk it up'. New tricky words too - when, what, there, one. The children are making such good progress in their reading - they have new books in their e-library too.
Forest school was a bit damp, but great fun. Lots of bug hunting, den building, climbing , swinging and pig feeding. Please make sure your child has their waterproofs in school and maybe a spare pair of socks.
We're looking forward to Little Flames next week.
Have a great weekend,
The Year R Team
