We Enjoy and Excel in the Presence of God

Year R

Monday 20th March

Good evening everyone,

We have had great fun in class thinking about Evil Pea, the villain from the Supertato books. The children painted some fantastic pictures of him and they have all written a page in our latest book - The Dastardly Deeds of Evil Pea. The children came up with some very imaginative ideas about the mischief he had been up to.

We have been catching up with reading today and are very impressed with the progress the children are making. The best way you can support this at home is to get into the routine of reading with your child every day. Please record in the reading record when you have read with your child.

As part of our learning about Easter, we are hoping to plant and Easter Garden. This will also help to rejuvenate our flower beds which are not looking their best since the decorators were here! If you have any plants at home that you could donate or you are visiting a garden centre and could buy us a small bedding plant, we would be very grateful.

I hope you all received your letter about our planned visit to the theatre. The children were very excited to hear about it. Let's hope the weather will cheer up for us.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us,
