We Enjoy and Excel in the Presence of God

Year R

Friday Blog - Saturday 3rd December

There's been much excitement this week as Christmas has come to Brockenhurst Primary. On Thursday everybody's Christmas doors were revealed during our Live Zoom Worship. There's always lots of excitement as I whizz around the building to each class to see this year's creation. Well done to everyone, they all look fabulous.

We went to the church yesterday for the Little Flames Christmas service. The children were beautifully behaved, as always. It was lovely that so many parents could join us. The church gave every child a book of the Christmas story, which they should have brought home yesterday.

We are hoping to visit the post office next week to buy a stamp. Please could you send your child into school with 68p in an envelope for them to buy their stamp. I thought we'd go for second class! Then you'll all have to look out for a special envelope popping through the letterbox, though you might wait a while with the postal strikes!

Please keep practising those lines over the weekend, particularly using a loud voice! I hope you enjoyed seeing Santa on the roof of Tesco's if you were in the village last night. I definitely saw some of you enjoying the fun.

Enjoy the weekend,

The Year R Team
